Frequently asked questions

Is my financial data safe?
Yes. Your financial data is encrypted before it is stored, encrypted in transit, and stays within the EU. A bank connection is read-only account information access under PSD2: the consent you sign covers balances and transactions only, and carries no permission to start a payment. You can delete your account and your data at any time.
Which banks and brokers do you support?
Live today: bank connections over Open Banking (PSD2), covering ING, ABN AMRO, Rabobank, Bunq, SNS and 100+ other banks across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and nine other countries; DeGiro via account export; and the crypto exchanges Bitvavo and Coinbase via read-only API keys. Anything without a connection, such as property, precious metals, loans or a business stake, you add manually and Gylder keeps valuing it for you.
Does it work with crypto?
Yes. Connect Bitvavo or Coinbase with a read-only API key and Gylder pulls in your holdings, trade history and cost basis, valued in euros at current market prices. Kraken is built and switches on once we finish testing it. Coins on an exchange we do not support yet, or in your own wallet, you add as a manual holding, and those get priced automatically too.
What happens when my trial ends?
Your account moves to read-only mode. All your data is preserved. You won't lose a thing. Subscribe to resume automatic syncing and full access.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Settings → Subscription at any time. You keep full access until the end of your billing period.
Is Gylder financial advice?
No. Gylder is a net worth tracker. It shows you your financial picture. It doesn't tell you what to do with it. We are not a financial adviser.
